Yeah, that's my lounge chair he's curled up under.
He's not little.
He was not invited.
Senny wanted to know what all the fuss was about. There was fuss, Cooper made sure of it. She couldn't see a thing, however, because between her and her brother, that darn window has a very hard time staying clean!
I was in the shower when Cooper ran in and announced that there was a rattlesnake in the backyard. Just the thing you want to hear, especially when you're clothe-less. Thankfully, no rattle, but not welcome just the same.

i cannot believe coop is standing that close to it!
Wow, the only snake I've seen in 4 years was in the north scottsdale desert. The baby ones are more dangerous than the adults because they don't know when to stop pumping the venom(no rattle). Wow. I for sure would take a helicopter over a rattle snake.

Ahh! That is frightening. I am not a fan of snakes.
Oh you are brave! I would freak out if I saw that thing. In fact, just looking at it in the pictures made my feet jump into my chair. I hate snakes!
Ohmygosh! Really, I hate snakes so much I could hardly even read this post. I would flip out and never go into my back yard again.
Eeek. I can't believe you got that close to take a picture. I hope he was gone by party time, that would have been quite the stir!
PS-I like Coop's hair longer, it's cute!
Yikes! Not a fan of snakes myself. Jim, on the other hand, would have taken it upon himself to catch it, and make it his new best friend. Hope it left by party time.
so, what happened? i would freak out.
