Utah: Part One

I don't have a photo, so just imagine...

Me, on my feet, with a carseat strapped on my back and a Beckham on my front. Seneca in the stroller with diaperbag strapped there too. Cooper on his own two feet with his backpack attempting to stay with us as we navigate the airport gracefully. It went rather smoothly, if I do say so myself. They were great on the plane, for the most part. There was only a moment when both babies were crying, but it didn't last long and soon they were both fast asleep.

We arrived safe and sound and have been enjoying gram and grandpa banks, ben (for a day), lindsay and lewis.

Sunday we reminded these old folks what having three little ones in sacrament meeting is like... I think there was a big sigh of relief as the closing prayer ended! Ben so graciously volunteered to take Seneca home for lunch during sunday school, what a guy.

Monday, gram took us on a field trip to Gardner Village. Petting zoo, pony ride, cute shops and lunch, all in this pleasant salt lake summer weather.

After stellar naps all around, Grandpa insisted on a swim.

Cooper had been talking about the diving board for weeks... he finally got his chance!

This morning we had the kids pictures taken, courtesy of annie, who did a fantastic job. I always wonder if we'll get pleasant kids and good smiles, but this photo session far surpassed any expectations I had. They were great and she was great with them. We definately got some winners... stay tuned!

All in all, it's been a fun few days. Cooper said today that he missed his dad, we haven't forgotten about him and look forward to seeing him tomorrow!

Nobody can say that you've never done anything hard! Juggling small children through airports is a trick to say the least. It sounds like Coop was a good sport.

Wow, Cooper! He's come a long way from last summer.

Good luck with the trip back home. I hope it goes as well or better than the trip to UT.

I shake my head and think, wow, you obviously are the right person for that circumstance... which would be a logistical nightmare for the rest of us.

I love the thought of you navigating the airport BY YOURSELF with all your little chicks strapped to you. Someday your little kiddos will appreciate just how tough there mom is, from the inside-out!

Wow, Supermom! Glad to hear you were able to get out of the heat and enjoy some time with your family. Can't wait to see pictures of the photo shoot.

Wish I could have seen you and met Beckham while you were here, but glad you had a great time. I saw a few of the pictures of your kids on Annie's blog, Darling!
