good things today.

- denten returned from his morning run with a box from doughnut central. oh, baby, you know what I like!

- all of my bathrooms are "sparkling," as cooper says. and he helped get them that way! yes, four-year-olds can clean toilets quite well!

- catching up on the tour over lunch.

- getting into a great book poolside. "the anatomy of peace," recommended by ashlee. I am not finished, but already recommend it to mom, dad, katelyn, lindsay, david, patria and kari ann.

- a nap.

- denten cleaning the kitchen from top to bottom, remembering surfaces and corners that I seldom give attention to. is there anything better than a perfectly clean kitchen?!

- the prospect of a new website design. if only I could make a decision!

- an afternoon in the pool where there were endless rocket rides, where beckham learned to jump in fearlessly with his mouth wide open and where seneca wanted to kick, kick, kick.

- a good sweaty run.

- a very clean garage. if there is nothing greater than a wonderfully clean kitchen, a clean and organized garage is a close second.

- a previous guest room converted to play room where all toys, games and book have at least a temporary organized home.

- finding beckham on the couch with a stack of books, thoroughly enthralled in one about cars. i love that he loves books.

it was a good day. I am signing off now to enjoy a movie and a doughnut. to kate and wade: I plan on getting a glass of milk, sitting down and eating the whole thing. yes, I do.

If every day could be just that good, would we appreciate them as much?
