how long have you know me?

I’ll give you about 28 years if you recognize this dress.  I wish I had the picture of me in it to post as well but I can’t find it.  My grandparents brought matching dresses back for my sister and I (and cousins?) after visiting Scandinavia.  I wish I knew the full story of this dress better.  I don’t know if they were on church assignment or just a vacation and I want to say it’s from Austria but I’m not certain about that either.  If anyone knows more details than I do, please share!

I know Katelyn’s was blue- Kate, do you have yours?  I bet it would fit Tess about now.  Emily, Annie, did you get dresses??  It was fun for me to help Senny put this on, I remember loving this dress because it was different.  It had cool buttons and an apron.  And while my Native American daughter looks anything but Scandinavian, she still looked like a little doll.

Mine was navy blue and mauveish and Annie's was red and green. I think my mom still has them??? How fun!

I have no idea where mine is! I assume mom has it. I'm sure it would fit T if yours fits Senny. So cute, I remember loving them too. And T...she could pass for a Scandinavian...

Okay, here's the scoop. G & G brought the dresses back from a 'pleasure trip' to Austria. (which is not a scandinavian country) Kater's is in her cedar chest. I have pictures that I will have to locate. I loved the dresses, too. I can't believe Senny can wear yours. She looks darling!

What a doll! Thats so funny! I have one very similar looking that an aunt brought home from Germany, mine has a crazy Robin Hood looking hat complete with feather. I have pics of me as a baby in as well as my girls. Good memories!!!

I vaguely remember them. I am so much younger than you and Emily that I was just too little! Just Kidding! Senny looks darling. I don't have mine, but I am sure my Mom does.

Oh that dress and that girl are just too beautiful. Such a fun heirloom to have and pass on to your little girl.

I remember you two wearing those dresses. Yep, that probably shows my age...

I have a dress that looks a lot like that dress. My mom bought it in Germany and I still have it so I can't wait until my girls can fit in it.

It's fun to pass along the old clothes ;o)
