1. I'm grateful for my home. I have realized more and more lately that it is not the home of my dreams, but the truth is that it does the job magnificently for our little family. I'm grateful for the warmth, comfort and the fact that we fit just fine.
2. healthy little body parts. as we were changing beckham's shirt today, we were examining (tickling and kissing) little shoulders, elbows, tummies and backs. besides being completely squishable, his little body functions just as it should. a complete blessing.
3. seneca's independence. she can get her own drinks, wash her hands, brush her teeth, get undressed, feed herself and a myriad of other things that most of the time make my life easier.
4. naptime. I'm not quite sure who created this sacred time of day, but he/she will get my full appreciation in heaven.
5. coach wade. aside from swimming, this is cooper's first official sporting experience and he's got a coach that knows how to balance teaching skills, instilling confidence and having a great time.
if you haven't joined us yet, it's not too late! start today with five things you're grateful for.

You might just take over the world: my mom and Rick's cousin are on board too. And my mom has challenged the rest of our family too. You are a power for good.
I'm with you about naptime. Sacred. And in response to your comment on my blog, there are some kinds of dogs that don't shed if you are desperate for a crum picker-upper.
