tissue, anyone?

Today I'm grateful that we got home before the storm hit. The wet, sticky storm that is being persistent in two babes. runny noses and so much drool I step in wet spots as I walk across my family room. a combo of teething and colds... it's seriously like a faucet around here that I can't turn off. It will run its course and things will dry up around here eventually, but I'm certainly glad we're going through a zillion tissues at home instead of on the go. I wish this was the kind of miserable that made them sleep long and soundly, but alas it's just the opposite. it's hard to stay asleep with you're a sticky mess that can't breathe. ah, the joys of parenthood. again, grateful for a washing machine and for bathtubs and a patient big brother. and for a husband who went shopping before we came home so I haven't had to trek to the store with my little puddles.

I'm right there with ya! Ely had it running out both sides and the front of his mouth today as he unconsolably cried. Yes, the joys of parenthood!

Your last line in your post is so creative! "with my little puddles" Doesn't that just sum it all up?

You are always one to be so grateful for everything...I admire it for sure.
